  Christ Church School, Chorleywood, needs Bags of Help!

   

  Please support the children of Christ Church School by shopping in Tesco (Rickmansworth and Mill End) and voting for the extension of their play area.

   

  Currently, in winter, our 200 children have to play on a paved area little larger than a netball court.

   

  We need to extend our small playground by creating an all-weather surface from the unsafe, slippy, muddy areas of the school grounds that develop in winter.  

   

  We have a dream of giving the children greater freedom - and space - to play safely.

• Department for Education Recognition of Outstanding Achievement

  We received a letter from Mr Martin Post today praising the school for its 2016 Key Stage 2 (Year 6) SATs results. This letter has been sent out to all parents via Parentmail.

  Mr Post is the Regional Schools Commissioner and the Education Secretary's leading representative for North West London and South Central, so this is praise from the highest level of the department.

  We are extremely pleased and proud to receive this level of congratulations, knowing that the school is recognised for academic achievement. We also know that we are not just about test results but much, much more - things that are more difficult to measure but easier to feel within the school itself.
