School Office Administrator

 

We wish to appoint an efficient and friendly Administrator. This post starts in November 2017.

You must have:

  • excellent people skills,
  • experience of clerical and administrative work in a busy school office environment,
  • a high level of computer literacy - including a working knowledge of all office software,
  • the ability to use online web-based programs, portals and databases,
  • a caring and nurturing approach to understanding the needs of children,
  • an awareness of the importance of confidentiality,
  • a flexible nature and be able to respond quickly to situations using your own initiative.

 

Recent and up to date experience of working in a busy office environment is desired. On-going training will be provided on school based computer programs to enable the school to operate effectively using SIMS (School Information Management Systems) to its fullest potential.

All interested applicants must be able to demonstrate they will support the values and ethos of our school.

 

This job is fixed-term for this academic year in the first instance before becoming permanent.

 

The starting salary for this post is NJC scale point 14 (£16, 781 full time pay) pro-rata for 20 hours over 46 weeks in an academic year. The school is following the agreed pay rises in line with increases to the National Living Wage basic hourly rate which sees pay rise each year.

1:1 Learning Support Assistant 

 

A Learning Support Assistant is required to join our friendly school to provide 1:1 support in our Nursery class.

You will need patience, flexibility, a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.

Ideally you will already have experience or training in working one to one with special needs children, especially those with medical, learning and behavioural needs.

Opportunities for training to extend your skills will be provided. This is a fixed term appointment for 2 mornings each week in the first instance.

 

The starting salary for this post is NJC scale point 9 (£15, 375 full time pay) pro-rata for 6 hours over 43 weeks in an academic year. The school is following the agreed pay rises in line with increases to the National Living Wage basic hourly rate which sees pay rise each year until 2020.
