• Star Gazing at CCS!

  The whole school was able to view Friday's Solar Eclipse via the internet. We gathered in the school hall and watched the BBC live streaming of the eclipse. It was a monumental event that we just had to see!

• Red Nose Day for Comic Relief

  A fantastic day of charity fundraising fun! There were funny costumes, funny wigs, funny glasses and red clothing as far as the eye could see! We raised £500 which is truly remarkable. Thank you all.

• Dads in School Day

  A busy morning of card design and making was in evidence across the school on Thursday as dads came into school to help their children with Mother's Day cards and gifts. This is always a special occasion and this year a record number of dads managed to attend. 

  

• World Book Day

  World Book Day was a great success. The children looked wonderful in their costumes and thoroughly enjoyed showing off during our celebration assembly. The class costume winners were: Jack M in YR, Rosie H in Y1, Joshua M in Y2, Rio in Y3, Josh P in Y4, Olivia K in Y5 and Maddy in Y6.

   

  Our overall winner was Jack M in reception with his red robot costume. Great effort Jack!
