Valentine Virtual Balloon Race - 14th February 2026

We’re excited to invite you to take part in an EcoRacing Virtual Balloon Race to raise money for the playground renovation project. This is a virtual balloon race happening in real time and using real weather data, and it is 100% eco-friendly.

Cost: Each virtual balloon costs only £3

Deadline: Balloons must be purchased before the race launch (by midnight 13/02/2026)

Follow this simple step-by-step guide to buy, gift, and track your balloons

Step 1: Create Your Account

Once your account is set up, you can:

• Buy balloons

Or

• Create a gift activation code to send on to friends or family.

Step 2: Buy or Gift a Balloon

Each balloon is £3, and you can buy as many as you like!

• Parents and Children can get involved!
• The more balloons = more funds raised for the school!

Step 3: Decorate Your Balloon

• Choose your shape, colour, thickness, and helium content!

Changes to your balloon could improve the flight parameters and your chances of winning - so go ahead and get creative!

Race Day: the race starts on the 14th February and runs for 7 days

• On race day – head to the race homepage at midday for the virtual launch from the Eiffel Tower, Paris!
• Track your balloon(s) in real time from your dashboard, and you can see how far your balloon has travelled on the map.
