Parenting in the digital age webinar

PARENTING IN THE DIGITAL AGE WEBINAR FOR PARENTS

We are delighted to invite you to an online parent talk, Parenting in the Digital Age, with our guest expert speaker Luke Roberts, on Wednesday 18th March, 7.30pm–9.00pm.

Luke is an Assistant Headteacher at a large secondary school in Hertfordshire and is part of the safeguarding team. His role places him at the heart of school life, working closely with young people and families, and seeing first-hand the impact smartphones and social media have on students every day. He regularly supports parents in navigating these challenges and delivers guidance on helping children build healthy, balanced digital habits. Through PAPAYA, Luke is passionate about helping families feel more informed, confident, and empowered to support their children in the online world.

During the session, there will be opportunities to explore and discuss:

  • The link between mental health and wellbeing and spending too much time online
  • Strategies for delaying the introduction of a smartphone
  • Practical strategies for families to achieve a healthy balance with technology
  • Question and discussion time

We would love for as many parents and carers to join us from across the school, but feel this may be especially useful for current Year 5 parents.

We are asking for a £5 donation to secure a place at this talk, and we will send out further details at the beginning of next week explaining how to make payment.
