As part of our ongoing Awe and Wonder work in school, we are excited to announce a special creative initiative taking place over the October Half Term break. We are inviting all children to take one photograph that captures something which fills them with awe and wonder. This could be anything — a beautiful autumn leaf, a sunrise, a favourite place, an amazing building, or even a small moment in nature that makes them stop and think.

Alongside the photograph, we ask each child to include a short blurb explaining how or why their chosen image inspires feelings of awe and wonder.

For children in EYFS and KS1, parents and carers are welcome to help submit the entry on their behalf.

The three winning photographs will be made into canvases and proudly displayed in school for everyone to enjoy. A jpeg is the best format for us to use to convert the winning entries onto a canvas.

We can’t wait to see the world through our pupils’ eyes and share in the simple, inspiring moments they discover. Have fun exploring and noticing the everyday wonders around you this half term!
